Agoly

How long has it been?

Some things are not daily habits and not to-do items. They come round every few weeks or months, and you only notice when you are already late. Agoly shows the days since you last did each one and tells you when it is time again.

Built for the every-so-often things

Changing the bed sheets, replacing the water filter, descaling the kettle, booking the dentist, watering a plant, oiling a cutting board. Too infrequent for a habit tracker, too vague for a to-do list. Agoly is built for exactly this middle ground.

Days since, in large type

The home screen answers one question at a glance: how long has it been. Each task shows its day count, and the ones that have passed their interval move to the top so you see what is overdue before anything else.

Reminders included, not behind a subscription

Notifications, the home screen widget and the complete history are in the free app. Nothing is locked, nothing asks you to upgrade to see your own records. The app is supported by ads and has no subscription or in-app purchase at all.

No account, no server

There is no sign-up, no login, no cloud sync. Everything lives in the app on your phone. The only network use is the advertising SDK, and you can change your ad consent at any time.

No streaks to break

There is no chain to keep alive and no scolding when you miss one. Miss the mark by a week and the app simply says it has been a week. Streak mechanics belong to daily habits; they turn an eight-week task into a guilt machine.

Intervals are a suggestion, not a rule

Every task gets a suggested interval you can change any time, and changing it does not erase the record you already have. Your water is harder than average, you travel half the month, the season changed — set your own number.

History and the average gap

Every task keeps a list of the times you marked it done, with the average interval between them. That is the number that tells you whether the two-month plan you set is actually a three-month habit.

Mark it done in one tap

From the list, from the notification or from the home screen widget. The counter resets to zero, the previous date drops into history, and the next due date moves forward on its own.

FAQ

Why do habit apps not work for things like this?
Habit apps are built around a daily or weekly cadence and a streak you are not supposed to break. A task that comes round every eight weeks has no chain to build, so the streak is either meaningless or permanently broken. What you actually want to know is not how consistent you have been, but how long it has been since the last time — which is the only number Agoly is built to show.
Are the reminders free?
Yes. Notifications are in the free app, along with the home screen widget and the full completion history. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase in Agoly at all. It is supported by ads.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no email address to give. Open the app and start adding tasks.
Where is my data stored?
In the app's own storage on your phone. There is no server of ours for it to go to, so nothing is uploaded and nothing syncs between devices. The trade-off is that uninstalling the app removes the data with it.
What if I set the interval wrong?
Change it. Open the task and set a new interval whenever you like — your past completions stay exactly as they are and the next due date recalculates from the most recent one. The suggested intervals are starting points, not rules.
How does it count the days?
From the date you last marked the task done to today, in whole days. Mark a task done and the count returns to zero, the previous date joins the history, and the next due date is the completion date plus your interval.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Counting days, reminders, the widget and the history all work with no connection at all. Only ads need the network.
Can I see it without opening the app?
Yes. The home screen widget shows your tasks and their day counts, and you can mark one done straight from the widget or from the reminder notification.
