Fastrail Privacy Policy

Fastrail ("the app") is an intermittent fasting timer with fasting history, water and weight logs, reminders and a home screen widget, provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). The app has no account system, no login, no cloud sync, and no server operated by us.

Your records stay on your device

The records you enter (fasting start and end times, plans, notes, water intake, body weight and goal weight) and your settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. We do not operate any server, and the app itself does not upload these records anywhere. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

You can choose to export your records yourself: a backup file saved to a location you pick with the system file picker, or a result card image you send through the Android share sheet to an app and person you choose. Those files and images are then handled by wherever you saved or sent them.

Permissions

• Internet / network state — used only to show ads.
• Notifications — to remind you before and when a fast ends and, if you turn it on, to show fasting progress. You can decline; the app still works.
• Alarms and run at startup — to deliver reminders at the right time and restore them after the device restarts.

The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, photos, microphone, or health data from other apps.

Information collected by the advertising SDK

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share with Google (a third party) the following, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

• Device and other identifiers, such as the advertising ID (Advertising ID) and app set ID
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• App interactions, such as app launches, taps and ad views
• Crash logs and diagnostics, such as app performance and ad loading data
• The mobile operating system and device model

This information is processed by Google under its own policies and is not linked by us to your fasting or weight records. For more information, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, only non-personalized or limited ads are shown. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), and you can change your consent choice from the app's Settings screen.

Not medical advice

Fastrail is a timer and record-keeping tool. The fasting stage descriptions are general information, not medical advice. Talk to a healthcare professional before fasting if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes or another medical condition, take medication, or have a history of eating disorders.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because your records exist only on your device, you are in direct control of them. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA in California), you may also have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings described above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
