Added in 3 seconds
Quick-add chips set the name AND a sensible expiry date in one tap. The app learns what you buy and puts your favorites first.
D-day on every item
Each food shows its remaining days right on the list. Items expiring soon turn red and move to the top — no opening, no math.
Fix anything in one tap
Edit the name, date, section, quantity or memo anytime. Froze something? Extend its date with one tap instead of delete-and-re-add.
One daily reminder, not spam
A single morning summary before food expires (you pick 1, 3 or 7 days ahead) and an optional evening grocery nudge. Quiet hours built in.
Grocery list built in
Finished something? FridgeDay offers to put it on the list. Check items off at the store, then move them into the fridge in one tap.
Widgets on your home screen
An expiry widget with your most urgent D-days, and a shopping widget you can check off without opening the app.
FAQ
- Does FridgeDay need an account?
- No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your food items, sections and shopping list are stored only on your phone, and the app works fully offline.
- Is it free?
- Yes. FridgeDay is free and supported by ads. There is no subscription and no paywall.
- How fast is adding an item really?
- Tap the quick-add chip for a common grocery — it fills the name and a sensible expiry date at once — then tap Add. For anything else, type a name and pick +1 day / +3 days / +1 week / +1 month.
- Can I track two of the same item with different dates?
- Yes. Add them as separate entries — two milk cartons each keep their own D-day.
- Will it flood me with notifications?
- No. At most one morning summary and one optional evening nudge per day, with configurable quiet hours, sound and vibration.
- Is there a widget?
- Yes, two: an expiry D-day widget and a shopping list widget you can check off without opening the app.
