Gracetide Privacy Policy

Gracetide ("the app") is a morning and evening prayer and devotional app provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). It offers daily prayers, a short devotion, reading plans, Bible verses for different feelings and a personal prayer journal. Gracetide has no account system, no login and no server operated by us.
Information stored on your device
Your prayer journal (prayer requests, the names or notes you add, answered dates and notes), gratitude entries, which prayers and plan days you have completed, your reminder times and app settings are stored locally on your device. The app itself does not send this information to us, and we have no server to receive it. We do not ask for your name, age, phone number or email address.
Uninstalling the app deletes this information. Android's standard app backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have device backup enabled; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
Sharing verse cards
If you use Share verse, the app creates an image card on your device and hands it to the app you choose through Android's share sheet. The app does not upload the image anywhere by itself.
Religious and personal content
Your prayer requests and journal notes may reflect religious beliefs or personal matters. They stay on your device as described above, are never read for advertising and are never used to target ads.
Permissions
- Notifications — optional morning and evening prayer reminders at times you choose. The app asks only after you finish your first prayer, and you can turn each reminder off in Settings.
- Run at startup — to restore scheduled reminders after the phone restarts.
- Vibration — for reminders, if you enable it.
- Internet / network state — used by the advertising SDK described below.
Gracetide does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, phone access or permission to display over other apps.
Advertising and information collected automatically
The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK may collect and share with Google information such as your device's advertising identifier and other device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, app interactions (for example ad views and taps), crash logs and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google as a third party for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention purposes. For more information see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings screen ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Your journal and records exist only on your device, so you can edit or delete them in the app at any time, and uninstalling the app removes them. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data processed by the advertising SDK; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
