Moodtint Privacy Policy

Moodtint ("the app") is a mood tracker and mood diary provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). Moodtint has no account system, no login, no server and no cloud storage operated by us. Your mood records and settings are stored on your phone.

Data stored on your device

Your mood entries (date, time, mood level, selected feelings and activities, and any note you write), your custom feelings and activities, reminder times and app preferences are stored only on your device in the app's private storage. We do not receive this data.

There is no sign-up or login. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. If you use the in-app backup, the backup file is saved to a location you choose and stays under your control. Android's standard device backup may include app data in your own Google account backup if you have enabled it; that backup is controlled by you and Google.

Permissions

• Notifications — for the optional daily check-in reminders. You can decline and grant it later in device settings.
• Run at startup — so reminders are re-scheduled after your phone restarts.
• Internet / network state — used by the advertising SDK described below.

Moodtint does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, phone or health permissions. The app itself does not send your mood records off your device.

Information collected automatically by advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and share with Google, as a third party, the following for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

• Device or other identifiers, such as the Advertising ID
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• App interactions (for example ad impressions and clicks, session activity)
• Crash logs and diagnostics

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app shows a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Not a medical service

Moodtint is a personal journal for general wellbeing. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any mood entry in the app at any time, and uninstalling removes all app data on your device. Because we hold no data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to delete; ad-related choices are available through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
