Pawlendar Privacy Policy

Pawlendar ("the app") is a pet photo diary that fills a monthly calendar with one photo a day of your pet, provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). Pawlendar is a local-only app: it has no account system, no login, no server, and no cloud storage operated by us.

Your data stays on your device

Your pets' profiles (name, type, birthday or adoption date, avatar), the daily photos you choose, one-line notes and settings are stored only on your device. When you pick a photo, the app keeps its own copy inside the app's private storage so your calendar does not break if the original is deleted from your gallery. We never upload, collect, sell, or share any of this, and we cannot recover it for you: there is no account behind the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes this data.

If you use Create backup file, the app writes a backup file (your photos and notes) only to the location you pick (for example your device storage or a cloud drive you choose). If you use Restore from backup, the app reads only the file you pick. We never see these files.

If you use Share or Save image, the app creates an image (a day card or a monthly calendar) on your device and hands it only to the destination you explicitly pick, or saves it to your gallery.

Photos and camera

The app uses the Android system photo picker, so it can only read the photos you select — it does not request access to your whole photo library. If you choose to take a photo, the app opens your device's camera app; it does not request the camera permission itself.

The app does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone or calendar.

Information collected automatically

Certain information may be collected automatically by the third-party advertising SDK used in the app. This may include:

This information is processed by the advertising provider described below and is never linked to your photos, notes or any other content you enter.

Advertising

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, and the Advertising ID and the information above are collected and shared with Google (a third party) for that purpose. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other regions where required, the app presents a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized advertising data is used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown instead. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), and you can change your consent choice from the app's Settings screen.

Notifications

Reminders are shown locally on your device using the Android notification system. No push notification service is used. You can turn them off in the app's Settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because your data exists only on your device, you are in direct control of it. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA in California), you may also have rights regarding data processed by advertising SDKs; you can exercise ad-related choices through the consent form and your device's ad settings described above.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
