How to keep track of GLP-1 injection site rotation
Short answer: pick a fixed order of sites (for example left abdomen, right abdomen, left thigh, right thigh, left arm, right arm), write down the site every time you inject, and check the last site before the next shot. Your pen's instructions and your care team say which sites are right for you.
Why people lose track
- Weekly shots are far apart, so last week's site is easy to forget.
- Notes end up spread across a calendar, a notebook and memory.
A simple system
- Agree on your allowed sites with your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
- Put them in one fixed order.
- After each shot, log the date, medication, dose and site together.
- Before the next shot, look at the last entry and move to the next site in the order.
Doing it with Pendose
Pendose shows the next site in your order on the Today screen. Tap “Log shot” and the site is saved with the date, medication and mg you entered.
Pendose is a personal logbook. It does not give medical advice, recommend doses or diagnose anything. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.

Can I add a shot I forgot to log?
Yes. You can add past shots with their date and site.
Is my history stored online?
No. It stays on your phone, and you can export it as CSV.
