Reminders that fire on time

Built on Android's exact alarm system instead of background jobs that get delayed or dropped. Reminders survive reboots and time changes.

One tap to log

Tap the card, tap the notification action, or tap the home-screen widget. Taken, Skip, or 10 min later — no confirmation dialogs, and one-tap undo.

Any schedule

Every day, specific weekdays, every N days, every N hours, or as needed. Presets for once, twice, three times a day and 30 min after meals.

Calendar and stats

A monthly calendar marks each day as taken, partly taken or missed. Weekly and 30-day rate, streak, per-med rate, and your most-missed time slot.

Reminders you control

Sound, vibration, ring even in silent mode, heads-up before a dose, automatic repeat if you don't respond, quiet hours for the daily summary.

Private by design

No sign-up, no login, no server. Back up to a file and restore on a new phone in seconds.

FAQ

Does PillTap need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your medications and dose history are stored only on your phone, and the app works fully offline.
Is it free?
Yes. PillTap is free and supported by ads. There is no subscription and no paywall. Reminders never contain ads.
Will reminders arrive if the app is closed?
Yes. PillTap uses Android's alarm system, so reminders fire even when the app is closed or the phone is idle. If your phone's battery optimization is aggressive, the app shows a one-time hint to exclude PillTap.
Can I log a dose from the notification?
Yes. Each reminder has Taken, 10 min, and Skip actions. Meds due at the same time are grouped into one notification with a single Took them all button.
Can I track supplements and vitamins too?
Yes. Anything on a schedule: prescriptions, vitamins, supplements, birth control, eye drops, injections.
Is there a widget?
Yes, two: a today checklist widget you can check off without opening the app, and a progress widget showing taken / total.
