Pingday Privacy Policy

Pingday ("the app") is a reminder app. You write down things you do not want to forget, choose a time or a date, and the app notifies you with sound and vibration; you can repeat reminders, get an early reminder, and mark them done or snooze them from the notification or the home-screen widget. It is provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). Pingday has no account system, no login and no server or cloud storage operated by us.

Data stored on your device

Your reminders (their text, times, repeat and early-reminder settings, and completion status) and your app settings are kept only on your device. The app itself does not upload this information to us.

If you share the app from Settings, the text is passed to the app you choose through Android's share sheet; what happens next is governed by that app. Uninstalling the app deletes the app's private data.

Permissions

• Notifications — to deliver your reminders and the optional morning and evening summary. You can decline and grant it later in device settings.
• Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) — so a reminder rings at the time you chose. If you do not allow it, reminders may arrive a few minutes late.
• Vibration — for reminder alerts.
• Run at startup — so reminders are re-scheduled after your phone restarts or the time zone changes.
• Internet / network state — used by the advertising SDK described below.

Pingday does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, storage or phone permissions.

Information collected automatically by advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and share with Google, as a third party, the following for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

• Device or other identifiers, such as the Advertising ID
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• App interactions (for example ad impressions and clicks, session activity)
• Crash logs and diagnostics

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app shows a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

Uninstalling the app removes its data on your device. Because we hold no data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to delete; ad-related choices are available through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
