Roadpass Privacy Policy

Roadpass ("the app") is a study app for the Korean driver's license written test, provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). Roadpass has no account system, no login, no server and no cloud storage operated by us. The question bank ships inside the app and works offline.

Data stored on your device

Your study history (which questions you answered, right or wrong, starred questions, mock-test scores), the license type you chose, your optional exam date and app preferences are stored only on your device in the app's private storage. We do not receive this data.

When you share a result, the text is passed to the app you choose through Android's share sheet; what happens next is governed by that app. Uninstalling the app deletes the app's private data.

Permissions

• Notifications — for the optional morning and evening study reminders. You can decline and grant it later in device settings.
• Run at startup — so reminders are re-scheduled after your phone restarts.
• Internet / network state — used by the advertising SDK described below.

Roadpass does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts or phone permissions. The app itself does not send your study history off your device.

Information collected automatically by advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and share with Google, as a third party, the following for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

• Device or other identifiers, such as the Advertising ID
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• App interactions (for example ad impressions and clicks, session activity)
• Crash logs and diagnostics

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app shows a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Question bank

Questions are taken from the written-test question bank published by the Korea Road Traffic Authority (KoROAD). Roadpass is an independent study app and is not affiliated with KoROAD or any government agency.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can reset your study history from Settings at any time, and uninstalling removes the app's data on your device. Because we hold no data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to delete; ad-related choices are available through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
