Spotlog Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-21
Spotlog — personal visit log ("the app") is provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Data we collect
Spotlog does not require an account and does not collect personal information.
- Visit records — place names, stamps, notes, photos and amounts you enter are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted or shared.
- Location (optional) — if you allow the location permission, the app attaches your device's current coordinates to a visit at the moment you save it, so the record keeps where it happened and the app can show distances. Location is read only at that moment, is stored only in the app's local database on your device, and never leaves your phone. There is no tracking, no background collection, and no server. You can decline or revoke the permission at any time; the app works fully without it.
- Photos (optional) — photos you attach are copied into the app's private storage on your device only.
- Notifications (optional) — daily reminders are generated locally on your device. No push service is used.
- Settings and preferences — stored locally on your device only.
- Advertising — the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. In the European Economic Area and the UK, ads are served according to your consent choices, which you can change at any time in the app settings.
Data sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data. Ad serving is handled directly by Google AdMob under its own policy.
Data retention and deletion
All app data lives on your device. Deleting a record removes it immediately; uninstalling the app deletes everything. You can reset your advertising ID in your device settings at any time.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
