- Can I block Reels without deleting Instagram?
- Yes. That is exactly what Unhook does: Instagram stays installed and logged in, only the Reels feed gets closed as soon as it opens. Messages, Stories and the home feed keep working.
- Does it hide Shorts, or just kick me out?
- It throws you back. Android has no official switch to turn Shorts or Reels off, so Unhook detects the feed screen and presses back for you. Light and Normal give you a small allowance first; Strict is instant.
- Blockers like this stop working after a day. Why?
- Usually Android revoked the accessibility permission (app update, battery optimisation, some Samsung/Xiaomi settings). Unhook shows 'Detection active' when it is running and sends a notification the moment permission drops, so you can re-enable it in one tap.
- Which apps are supported?
