Weighjot Privacy Policy

Weighjot ("the app") is a weight tracker provided by DDJ A1 ("we", "us"). Weighjot has no account system, no login, no server and no cloud storage operated by us. Your weight entries and settings are stored on your phone.

Data stored on your device

Your weight entries (date, time, weight and optional note), goal weight, optional height used for BMI, unit, reminder times and app preferences are stored only on your device in the app's private storage. We do not receive this data.

When you export a CSV file, it is written to the location you choose through Android's file picker. When you share a progress card, the image is passed to the app you choose through Android's share sheet; what happens next is governed by that app.

There is no sign-up or login. Uninstalling the app deletes the app's private data (exported files remain until you delete them).

Permissions

• Notifications — for the optional daily weigh-in reminder. You can decline and grant it later in device settings.
• Run at startup — so reminders are re-scheduled after your phone restarts.
• Internet / network state — used by the advertising SDK described below.

Weighjot does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or phone permissions. The app itself does not send your weight entries off your device.

Information collected automatically by advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and share with Google, as a third party, the following for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

• Device or other identifiers, such as the Advertising ID
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
• App interactions (for example ad impressions and clicks, session activity)
• Crash logs and diagnostics

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required, the app shows a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are used; if you decline, non-personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice from the app's Settings ("Ad privacy settings") and reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.

Health information

Weighjot is a personal log, not a medical device. Weight and BMI figures are shown for your own reference and are not medical advice. Your weight entries are never used for advertising by the app.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any entry in the app at any time, and uninstalling removes the app's data on your device. Because we hold no data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to delete; ad-related choices are available through the consent form and your device's ad settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
