How to do a 10-minute butt workout at home

Short answer: do five glute moves for about 40 seconds each with 20 seconds rest, twice through. Do the standing moves first and the floor moves last so you only get down once.

The routine (2 rounds, ~10 minutes)

  1. Squats — feet shoulder-width, sit back, push through your heels.
  2. Reverse lunges — alternate legs, front knee over the ankle.
  3. Sumo squats — wide stance, toes out.
  4. Donkey kicks — on hands and knees, push one heel to the ceiling.
  5. Fire hydrants — lift the bent knee out to the side.
  6. Glute bridges — on your back, squeeze and lift the hips.

Form tips

  • Move slowly; squeeze at the top of each rep.
  • Keep your lower back neutral during bridges and kicks.
  • Stop if anything hurts sharply.

FAQ

How often should I do it?

Two to four times a week is a common starting point. Rest a day when your glutes are sore.

Will this make my butt bigger quickly?

Results vary from person to person and take weeks of consistency. Focus on form and showing up, not quick promises.

Can I do it without jumping?

Yes. Every move in this routine is low-impact.
