FAQ

Why couldn't we link with my partner in other apps?
Most apps need both accounts to sync. Namepair skips that: you swap a short code in any messenger, so there is nothing to link or sync.
Do we need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and your picks stay on your phone.
Will the same name come back after I pass it?
No. A name you passed does not show up again.
Is there a paywall for matching?
No. Matching, the final round and the shortlist are all included. Ads keep the app at no cost.
Can I see how a name sounds with our last name?
Yes. Tap a card to see the full name with your surname, initials and a middle name idea.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Picking and matching work without an internet connection.
Are Korean names included?
Yes. There is a separate Korean name (한글 이름) deck.
We have a few favourites but can't pick one. What now?
Play the Final round: two names at a time, tap the one you'd rather keep until one is left, then share it.
