FAQ
- Do I need to create an account or log in?
- No. Odonote opens straight to your log. There is no sign-up and nothing is uploaded.
- Do I have to enter my fuel tank size?
- No. Only the odometer and total cost are required. Liters, price per unit, station and notes are optional.
- Why don't I see the fuel economy for my last fill-up?
- Fuel economy needs two full-tank fill-ups. Tick "Full tank" when you fill up; from the second full tank on, Odonote shows the economy for that stretch right after you save.
- Can I switch between miles and kilometers, gallons and liters?
- Yes. Units are chosen for your region on first launch and can be changed in Settings in one tap. MPG US and UK are both supported.
- Can I get an oil change reminder by mileage or by months?
- Yes. Set a distance, a number of months, or both. The reminder comes for whichever is reached first, and the home screen shows km or days left.
- How do I move my records to a new phone? Is backup paid?
- Backup is free. Create a backup file in Settings, move it to the new phone and restore it there. You can also export CSV.
- How many vehicles can I add?
- As many as you like: cars, motorcycles, trucks and electric vehicles.
- Does Odonote track my location?
- No. Odonote does not request the location permission.
