How to Stitch Screenshots Into One Long Image
To send a long chat thread, receipt, recipe or article as one picture, take several screenshots while scrolling, then join them vertically in order. The result is a single tall image your friend can scroll through, instead of five separate attachments arriving in random order.
1. Capture the screenshots
- Scroll a little less than one screen each time so no line is skipped.
- Take them top to bottom, so the order you pick matches the reading order.
- Some phones have a built-in scrolling capture. It works in many apps but not all, which is when joining separate screenshots helps.
2. Join them vertically
- Select the screenshots from first to last.
- Choose vertical.
- Check the order. If one is misplaced, drag it to the right spot.
- Keep the gap at 0 for a seamless look, or add a small gap to show where each capture starts.
- Save as PNG so text stays sharp.
About overlapping parts
If your screenshots overlap, the repeated lines will appear twice in a simple vertical join. Scroll carefully while capturing, or crop the screenshots in your gallery first. Pixjoin joins whole images as they are and does not detect or remove overlaps automatically.
