FAQ
- Can anyone see my posts?
- No. Sololine has no account, no server and no sharing unless you explicitly export a post as an image. Everything stays in the app's private storage on your phone.
- Is it like Twitter?
- It looks and feels like a social timeline: avatar, handle, likes, threads, quotes. The difference is that it is just for you. The follower numbers are whatever you type in, for fun.
- Is search really free?
- Yes. Full-text search, tag chips and the liked filter are all free. There is no premium version.
- What if I switch phones?
- Use Back up in Settings to save all posts and photos to one file, then Restore on the new phone. Threads and quotes are preserved.
- Are there ads?
- A banner at the bottom of the timeline, search, calendar and settings, an occasional full-screen ad after you post (never more than once every three minutes), and one small ad in the exit dialog. Never on the writing screen.
- Does it work offline?
- Completely. The app never talks to a server. Only the ads need a connection.
