FAQ
- I want a volume control. That's it. Does Volmode change my home screen?
- No. Volmode is not a launcher and never replaces or changes your home screen. It only changes audio settings.
- Is it hard to uninstall?
- No. Uninstall it like any other app. There is no launcher to switch back from and no device admin.
- Does it do anything the Android volume buttons can't?
- Yes. One tap sets media, ring, notification, alarm and call volume together, and modes can switch on a schedule or when earbuds connect.
- Will my alarm still ring in Meeting or Sleep mode?
- Yes. Each mode has its own alarm level. The default Meeting and Sleep modes keep your alarm where it is.
- Why did the switch happen a few minutes late?
- Android groups alarms to save battery, so scheduled switches may arrive a few minutes late. In return, no exact-alarm permission is needed.
- Why does it ask for Do Not Disturb access?
- Only to put the ringer on silent. It is optional; without it, vibrate and every volume level still work.
- Does it boost volume or have an equalizer?
- No. Volmode is about modes, schedules and automatic switching. It sets the system levels, not above them.
- Do I need an account or internet?
- No. Every feature works offline with no sign-in. The app is supported by ads.
