FAQ
- How do I know how many weeks pregnant I am?
- Pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period, not from conception. Enter that date (or your due date) in Ninemoon and it shows your week and day every day.
- My due date changed after the ultrasound. What should I enter?
- Use the date your care provider gave you. In Ninemoon, choose “Weeks from an ultrasound” and enter the weeks and days you were told on the scan date.
- Is Ninemoon a pregnancy test?
- No. Ninemoon is a calendar for people who are already expecting. It cannot tell whether you are pregnant — please use a test or see a doctor for that.
- Do I need to sign up?
- No. There is no account, phone number or email. Everything stays on your phone, and you can export a backup file yourself.
- Why does week 1 happen before I was pregnant?
- Because weeks are counted from your last period. Conception usually happens around the end of week 2.
- How do I count baby kicks?
- Pick a time your baby is usually active, tap the button each time you feel a movement and save when you reach 10. If movements seem less than usual, contact your care provider.
- Can I see my week without opening the app?
- Yes. Add the Ninemoon widget to your home screen.
- Is it medical advice?
- No. The weekly information is general and does not replace advice from your doctor or midwife.
