The home screen widget refreshes on its own, and the converter works both ways with your bank's fee %. No account, no sign-up.

Target exchange rate alerts
Set "USD ≤ 1,350 KRW" or "EUR ≥ 1.15 USD". Rate Nudge checks about every hour on your phone and notifies you when the rate crosses. Each card shows how far away you are in %.
A widget that refreshes itself
Up to 4 currencies with up/down vs. yesterday. It updates without opening the app, and a tap refreshes it right away.
Two-way currency converter
Tap any row to type in it: enter dollars to see won, or won to see dollars. Decimal keypad and a 00 key.

FAQ
- Why does my exchange rate widget not update unless I open the app?
- Many widgets only refresh when the app runs. Rate Nudge's widget schedules its own refresh, and you can tap it to update immediately. If it still looks stale, check that battery optimization is not restricting the app.
- I reached my target rate but the alert never came. Will this one work?
- Rate Nudge checks your targets about every hour on the device and sends a notification when the daily reference rate crosses them. Allow notifications and keep battery optimization off for the app for the most reliable alerts.
- Are the rates real-time?
- No. Rate Nudge shows daily reference rates (ExchangeRate-API; ECB via Frankfurter for charts), not live trading prices. The source and the time of each rate are shown on screen.
- Why is the rate different from my bank's?
- Banks add a spread or fee on top of the reference rate. Enter your bank's fee % in the converter to see what you actually receive.
- Can I type decimals, like 33.50?
- Yes. The converter and the target field use a decimal keypad, plus a 00 key for large amounts.
- Can I convert in both directions?
- Yes. Tap any currency row and type there; every other row updates.
- Is there a limit on currencies?
- No paid limit. Choose from 160+ currencies; the widget shows up to 4.
- Do I need an account? Is it free?
- No account or sign-up. The app is free and supported by ads.
