A diary with a lock, and no ads on your words.
Inkleaf is a private diary for Android. Write one page a day on lined paper, pick your mood and the weather, attach photos or a hand drawing, and lock it all behind a PIN. Ads never appear while you write, read an old entry, draw or unlock, and every feature is included without a subscription.

No ads while you write or read
Writing, reading, drawing and the lock screen never show ads. Ads stay on the calendar list.
PIN and fingerprint lock
A 4-digit PIN with optional fingerprint unlock. The PIN always works as a fallback.
Hidden from recent apps
When the lock is on, your entries do not show in the recent apps preview, and the diary locks again when you come back.
Mood and weather in one tap
Five mood levels and five weather icons on every page, shown as dots on the calendar.
Photos and hand drawings
Attach photos from your gallery or draw with pens, colors and an eraser, then add the drawing to the page.
Plain ZIP backup
Export every entry and photo as a normal ZIP you can open on any computer, and import it on a new phone.
Calendar and search
See the whole month with a dot on each day you wrote, and search old entries by word.
Widget and one reminder a day
The home screen widget shows if you wrote today and your streak. One reminder at your time, skipped if you already wrote.
FAQ
- Why does every diary app show an ad when I save or open an entry?
- Many free diaries put a full-screen ad on every save, read and back button. Inkleaf keeps ads off the writing, reading, drawing and lock screens.
- Can someone see my diary in the recent apps screen?
- Not in Inkleaf. With the lock on, the app hides its preview in recent apps and asks for your PIN again when you come back.
- What if I forget to back up and lose my phone?
- Export a ZIP from Settings any time and keep it on your computer or cloud drive. The ZIP is not encrypted, so it opens anywhere.
- Do bold text, fonts or more photos cost money?
- No. Bold, lists, photos and drawings are all included. There is no subscription.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There is no sign-up or login. Your diary stays on your phone.
- Can I write for a day I missed?
- Yes. Change the date at the top of the page to fill in any past day.
- Will it spam me with notifications?
- No. At most one reminder a day at the time you choose, and none on days you already wrote. You can turn it off.
- Can I use it as a mood journal or gratitude journal?
- Yes. Every page has a mood level and the calendar shows your moods as colored dots, so it works for mood, gratitude or one-line journaling.
